Hey Universe
October 3, 2019Bottled Up
October 15, 2019The past 12 years have proved to be a whirlwind of emotion, stress, and life altering decisions. Music was a force that helped to keep me sane. (Sort of) We all have songs that we turn to in times of sorrow or stress. When we experience moments of joy, we tend to round up a different playlist. Each path that we embark on, carries its’ is own soundtrack.
I find that music becomes our safety net as we fall. It could be just me, but I know how certain songs encouraged me to move forward when I was at a standstill. The artists vary, just as the reasons for listening to their songs. I will stand by my assertion, that music helped me to survive the dark days.
Below is a partial playlist of the past 12 years.
