LIVING AND FIGHTING LBD

Everyone has a journey. Mine, is to record and to champion my Mom. As some of you know she is fighting an aggressive and evil dementia, called Lewy Body Dementia. While it combines traits of Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease, it also stops the brain from producing certain chemicals, one of them being, dopamine. So, not only will people physically suffer, and lose their minds, they will also endure depression, and anxiety. While the facts are bleak, I choose to treasure the beautiful, happy, funny, and loving moments during this time. It is the only thing that is keeping me going.
